Purposely set off today to a very worked out pasture field at the back of a castle
this field no longer gets any visits by detectorists from the club as finds have dried up!!

So this is why the decision was made to use this small field with the BLISS and the 15" DD
coil to see what has been missed, remembering this small field has had all sorts of detectors and coils used
on it and now they've stopped trying.

We were both using 15" coil on our BLISS' S and detected for about 4 hours and the ground was hard to dig but still moist
We both had the same settings,
Gain. 3
Thresh. 4
Silencer 1.5
DL 3.5
DD. 8.8
Disc toggle (III)
Tone. 8
Freq, max/min
Man. GB

At the end of 4 hours I had managed to pull out 42 muzzies several coins and buttons and a nice little lizzie half groat from 9-10"
with a nice clean signal.

My mate Dai pulled out about 20 muzzies a couple of coins and buttons and to finish things off he found a cracking huge cannon ball possibly 14-16lbs
To watch him carry this  the half mile to the car was painful.
Total finds for the day was about 100 + nonferrous targets from a worked out field and we still have more to do in there, we had had enough of digging so we will return another day soon [smile] The picture is of only my finds from the field. HH! Daryn

Hiya Kev, [smile]

What you using now?

It is so worth learning the BLISS and once you do you will not want or need another detector, well thats my belief ,and a lovely piece of kit, [smile]

Goodluck Kev, got one now if you want[smile]

HH!
